Amanda Emerson


Amanda Emerson is 18 years old and studying Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Central Washington University. She is the daughter of Marilyn & Tracy Oestreich of Omak.
Amanda is a member of the Junior Rodeo Association, Central Washington University Pre-Veterinary Club, Central Washington University Rodeo Club, Colville Timber Resource Flag Carrier and Omak Stampede Relay for Life team member.
She also volunteers at the Animal hospital and East Elementary School and is involved in Varsity Basketball, Track, National Honor Society, Who's Who Among American Students, currently holds office as Senior Class Vice President and is a member of the Central Washington Bowling Team.
Amanda enjoys playing basketball, competing on her horses and spending time with her family. She states "It would be a great experience and honor to represent the famous Omak Stampede & Suicide Race. This has been a dream of mine since I was a young girl. I would take great pride in promoting and educating people about an event that is very important to our community. This position would give me a chance to be an inspiration and a role model for young women everywhere."
