Miss Omak Stampede 2017

84th annual omak stampede

Greetings from Miss Omak Stampede 2017, Michaela Allen, 19-year-old graduate of Okanogan High School. While attending I lettered all four years as a varsity cheerleader for Basketball and Football seasons. I also stayed artistically active in our schools Art Club. Since I was two years old I passionately competed in Barrel Racing, goat tying and Daubing. My persistence and hard work paid off in 2015 when I received a buckle in goat tying and through growth in my leadership I cared the title of Miss Okanogan Junior Rodeo Queen 2016 "Where Strong Bodies Rodeo so Weak Bodies Can Heal” ending my reign by presenting a check of our proceeds from the local Junior Rodeo to The Seattle Children's Hospital. I am truly honored to carry the title of Miss Omak Stampede 2017. Throughout my activities growing up in the support of my mother Chris Allen & family. I have matured in my leadership and people skills, I will work hard to educate the public on our World Famous Rodeo, beautiful city and surrounding areas. Currently I'm attending the Academy of Hair Design in Wenatchee. It is truly exciting and an honor to serve as an Ambassador of the Omak Stampede and share the love of the sport of rodeo and western way of life here in Okanogan County.
